Testimonials are great for reassuring prospective customers of the quality of your product or service. Make sure you have permission from the customer before posting any testimonials. There’s no point in placing all of your testimonials on one long single page — who’s going to read it? It’s better to try the following:
- Scatter the testimonials on various pages throughout your website
- It’s better to keep the testimonials short, sweet, and to the point
- You can rotate testimonials on your pages as part of your content updating strategy.
- Break a long testimonial into several endorsements on different web pages throughout the site.
If you have any certified endorsements (BBB, TRUSTe, etc) then be sure to place their seal prominently on your site.
